Shortly after Beyoncé’s new album, Renaissance (his first full album since Lemonade in 2016), leaked days before its official release, the Queen herself posted a message on her website confirming important news for her legions of stans. The new album which has just been released on the Internet was called Rebirth: Act I, indicating that there may be more “acts” to come. Indeed, Beyoncé’s note confirms that this album will be in three parts.
“This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic,” Bey writes. “A time to be still, but also a time that I found most creative.” The note also had a slightly more personal tone that Beyoncé tends to reveal to the public. She continued:
The second we all heard the album’s first single, “Break My Soul,” it was obvious from the song’s disco beats and punchy bass that this wasn’t going to be another introspective opus like Lemonade. This was going to be an album made to really dance. Beyoncé closes her note with a message to fans. “To all my fans: I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to let go. Ha! And to feel as unique and strong and sexy as you are. love deeply, B.
