Lincoln, Neb. – Landscapes Unlimited has opened the application process for its 2022 internship program which helps students hone their skills in the development and construction of golf courses and sports fields.
Incorporating classroom learning and real-world work environments, students are mentored by Landscapes Unlimited project managers in the areas of project policies, procedures, scope, and communications; construction and irrigation techniques and processes; equipment management; and project execution.
Each area delves into the sophisticated tactics – including Landscapes Unlimited’s proprietary “M4” high-end drone tool that effectively maps, measures, models and manages project lifecycles – implemented by field teams.
Interns are given challenging projects and tasks that match their academic backgrounds and professional interests. Their progress is tracked against qualitative and quantitative goals for optimized experiences. Several have gone on to full-time positions at Landscapes Unlimited, a testament to the company’s collaborative and progressive culture toward universal customer satisfaction.
“Leadership is the ability to get results through people,” says Brian Vitek, COO of Landscapes Unlimited. “We are proud to nurture the next generation of professionals and to help future-proof the discipline of golf course and sports field development and construction.”
Internships last 10 weeks and applications can be accessed at www.landscapesunlimited.com and due April 30, 2022. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
